Learning outcomes: - To know physics, electrical engineering, electronics and circuit engineering and microprocessor technology at the level necessary for solving typical tasks and problems of automation. - Know the principles of operation of automation technical means and be able to justify their choice based on the analysis of their properties, purpose and technical characteristics, taking into account the requirements for the automation system and operating conditions; have skills in setting up technical means of automation and control systems. - To be able to apply knowledge about the basic principles and methods of measuring physical quantities and basic technological parameters to justify the choice of measuring instruments and evaluation of their metrological characteristics. - Be able to develop automation systems for life support processes based on modern microprocessors and network technologies. - Be able to develop a control system for a robotic technological complex based on sensors of technological parameters, technical vision systems, and microprocessor control devices. - Be able to develop systems of automatic measurement and control of technological parameters and metrological support of such systems.
Required prior and related subjects: Prerequisites: - Physics, - Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics.
Summary of the subject: Basic principles of the block diagrams of electronic measuring transducers of process parameters, given the technical and metrological characteristics, functionality. Circuitry of analog measuring transducers based on operational amplifiers and specialized integrated circuits. The methods of installing electronic measuring transducers.
Assessment methods and criteria: - final control (control measure – test 100%).
