Learning outcomes: • Ability to apply models and methods of project activities in the field of library and archival affairs • Know and understand the scientific principles of organization, modernization and implementation of new technologies in social communications and information activities. • Apply modern methods and technologies of automated information processing, formation and use of electronic information resources and services. • Be responsible, ensure effective teamwork. • Work effectively both individually and as a team. • To combine theory and practice, as well as to make decisions and develop a strategy for solving problems of the specialty (specialization), taking into account universal values, social, state and industrial interests. • Ability to use a variety of methods, including information technology, for effective communication at the professional and social levels. • Ability to treat the work responsibly and achieve the goal in compliance with the requirements of professional ethics. • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of the basic principles of occupational safety and health and their application.

Summary of the subject: The discipline embodies the issues of basic concepts and standards of project management, project management life cycle, methodologies and models of project management in libraries and archives, organizational structure of project management (PMBOK), project planning.
