Learning outcomes: 1. Develop long-term and current plans, programs of events, and make effective decisions in difficult situations. 2. Use specialized software in the course of solving professional problems. 3. Determine the content of cooperation with partner organizations in social work to fulfill the tasks of professional activity. 4. Use methods of social diagnosis in the process of assessing the problems, needs, specific characteristics and resources of clients. 5. Independently determine the circumstances that require social assistance. 6. Make practical decisions to improve social well-being and increase social security. 7. Apply management methods to organize their own professional activities and manage the activities of social workers and volunteers, other staff.
Required prior and related subjects: 1. Social audit and inspection in the system of social services. 2. Practice of counseling in social work. 3. Social work with different groups of clients. 4. Introduction to supervision in social work.
Summary of the subject: The academic discipline is aimed at forming the basis of a scientific outlook on social entrepreneurship and society's problems in the context of the formation of the social services market in Ukraine, mastering the basic terms and concepts of social entrepreneurship at the level of their reproduction and interpretation; acquiring skills of fundraising activities and verbal skills to apply them in practice to increase the competitiveness of a social work specialist.
Assessment methods and criteria: • Current control (40%): Includes student presentation on the selected topic, and work in classes • Final test - 60%
