Learning outcomes: - Apply modern sociological concepts, theories and results of empirical research to describe and explain social phenomena and processes. - To diagnose and interpret current problems of Ukrainian society and the world community, their causes and consequences. - Develop social research projects and justify their methodology. - Be able to analyze empirical data using modern methods. - Present the results of research in written and oral forms in Ukrainian and foreign languages. - Solve ethical dilemmas in accordance with the norms of professional ethics of the sociologist and universal values. - Summarize the results of their own research in various forms (abstracts, articles, reports, presentations, etc.). - Monitor and evaluate social projects and programs according to existing criteria. - Specialized conceptual knowledge, including modern scientific achievements in the field of professional activity or industry. - Critical understanding of problems in the field and on the border of fields of knowledge. - Specialized problem-solving skills required for research and / or innovation in order to develop new knowledge and procedures. - Ability to integrate knowledge and solve complex problems in broad or multi-disciplinary contexts. - Ability to solve problems in new or unfamiliar environments with incomplete or limited information, taking into account aspects of social and ethical responsibility. - Clear and unambiguous communication of their own knowledge, conclusions and arguments to specialists and non-specialists, in particular, to students. - Management of work or learning processes that are complex, unpredictable and require new strategic approaches. - Ability to continue studies with a high degree of autonomy.

Summary of the subject: Organization as a social subject: a socio-psychological approach. Person in the organizational system. Organizational behavior of staff. Personality through the prism of individual factors which influence on organizational behavior. Values, guidelines and motivation as regulators of staff behavior in the organization. Group as the basis of the organization. Socio-psychological processes in the group. Technology of development of professional and managerial self-determination of the head in the organization. Personal adaptation and career building in the organization. Organizational conflicts. Communication in the organization. PR-technologies in the organization. Organizational stress. The phenomenon of burnout: methods of prevention and management.
Assessment methods and criteria: • oral interviews, participation in discussions and interactive exercises, presentation of the study project (60%) • final control test, written form (40%)
