Learning outcomes: Apply modern sociological concepts, concepts, theories and results of empirical research to describe and explain social phenomena and processes. To diagnose and interpret current problems of Ukrainian society and the world community, their causes and consequences. Develop social research projects and justify their methodology. Be able to organize and conduct social research using valid and reliable methods It is argued to present one's own opinion, to be critical and self-critical in discussions with opponents. Teach sociological and related disciplines using classical and modern concepts and teaching methods. Summarize the results of their own research in various forms (abstracts, articles, reports, presentations, etc.). Monitor and evaluate social projects and programs in accordance with existing criteria. Ability to communicate in a foreign language for professional purposes. Ability to identify, diagnose and interpret current issues of Ukrainian society and the world community. Ability to monitor and evaluate social projects and programs. In-depth cognitive and practical skills, mastery and innovation at the level required to solve complex specialized tasks and practical problems in the field of professional activity or training. Clear and unambiguous communication of one's own knowledge, conclusions and arguments to specialists and non-specialists, in particular, to students. Ability to continue studies with a high degree of autonomy.

Systemic and subjective risks of Ukrainian society. Social risks of Ukrainian society in the political and economic spheres. Ukrainian society as a consumer society. Opportunities and risks of the information society. Ukrainian youth and social risks. Risk analysis: content and main tools. Social risk management.
Assessment methods and criteria: Work in practical classes: oral examination, use of interactive forms of learning, individual control work (40%) • final control (control measure, test): written form (60%)
