Learning outcomes: Ability to use the capabilities of the sociological service to ensure the work of public institutions, performing their functions. Apply modern sociological terms, concepts, theories and results of empirical researches to describe and explain social phenomena and processes. Specialized conceptual knowledge, including modern scientific achievements in the field of professional activity or branch of knowledge and is the basis for original thinking and research. Critical understanding of problems in the field and on the border of fields of knowledge. Specialized problem-solving skills required for research and / or innovation in order to develop new knowledge and procedures. Ability to integrate knowledge and solve complex problems in broad or multi-disciplinary contexts. Ability to solve problems in new or unfamiliar environments with incomplete or limited information, taking into account aspects of social and ethical responsibility. Clear and unambiguous communication of one's own knowledge, conclusions and arguments to specialists and non-specialists, in particular, to students. Management of work or learning processes that are complex, unpredictable and require new strategic approaches. Summary of the subject: Characteristics of sociological service in state institutions in Ukraine. Organizational structure of the sociological service in Ukraine. State enterprises and institutions in the mechanism of the state and the role of sociological service in them. Organization of sociological service activities in state institutions. Organization of recruitment, training and certification of employees of sociological services in state institutions. Quality system in the work of the sociological service. Maintaining documentation in the process of sociological service. The process of conducting research by the sociological service. Organization and management of the research process. Methods of collecting sociological information in the work of the sociological service. Data processing and analysis of primary sociological information.
Assessment methods and criteria: • work in practical classes (oral interviews, participation in discussions and interactive exercises, presentation of the study project (40%) • final test (exam), written form (60%)
