Learning outcomes: As a result of a discipline study, the student must be able to demonstrate the following learning outcomes: to know: general concepts and key terms of stylistics (the concept of a norm in stylistics, expression, speech case, "zero degree" of language), basic rhetorical and stylistic figures; to be able to: distinguish between texts and do examples of oral presentations in Japanese in various styles: formal, epistolary, scientific, technical, journalistic, artistic, conversational, analyze texts of different styles: to single out the phonetic, graphic, syntactic style; distinguish morphological characteristics inherent in different styles, take into account the pragmatic aspect of lexical-semantic choice, translate into Ukrainian according to the style.
Required prior and related subjects: Prerequisites: “Modern Japanese” Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, “Speech Practice (Japanese language)” Part 1. Corequisites: -
Summary of the subject: Writing and translating texts in different styles. Features of oral and written forms of formal style, the structure of official documents. Lexical and grammatical features of official documents; Technical documentation in Japanese. General view of the patent. Translation of patent from Japanese. Journalistic style. The overall structure of newspaper and magazine articles, posts on social networks. Forms of headers. Features of multi-complex sentences. Stylistic features of a literary text. Expression and imagery in Japanese. The format and style of a letter. Features of electronic correspondence.
Assessment methods and criteria: Monitoring: listening, monologue and dialogic speaking, reading, writing. Final test. Final assessment: differentiated credit. Learning outcomes: - ability to apply knowledge of the characteristics of business communication and conducting professional communication, features of speech skills formation in Ukrainian / foreign languages. - ability to acquire new knowledge independently, to critically assess the experience from the standpoint of the latest philological and social practice achievements . - ability to perform phonological, semantic, lexicological, morphological and syntactic analysis of linguistic material; to analyze different types of discourse/text. - ability to translate, review and annotate multi-genre texts in state and foreign languages - ability to edit multi-genre texts in Ukrainian and German languages. - ability to communicate in Ukrainian and German, both orally and in written form; ability to use a variety of methods, including information technologies for effective professional communication - ability to apply knowledge and understanding of laws and methods of interpersonal communication, norms of tolerance, of business communication in the professional sphere, effective team work, adaptability. - ability to adapt to new situations and to make decisions; to realize the necessity of lifelong learning in order to deepen the acquired proficient skills and to gain new professional knowledge; to take responsibility for the work performed and to achieve goals in compliance with the requirements of professional ethics.
