Learning outcomes: As the result of discipline study a student must be able to demonstrate the following learning outcomes: know: basic concepts and terms, criteria for determining the differences between cultures, especially the perception of a foreign culture, intercultural communication mechanism and causes confusion, the nature of intercultural conflicts and means out of them, methods and techniques to achieve a positive result of cross-cultural communication; be able: comply tolerance towards other cultures and their representatives, to practice their knowledge in specific situations of cross-cultural interaction; - Possess methodological techniques of communicative behavior in various spheres of public life; - Own technique and skills prevention and elimination of cross-cultural conflicts. - To conduct scientific research on problems of intercultural communication studies;

Learning outcomes: As a result of studying the discipline the student must know: 1) features of business speech and record keeping, features of formation of speech skills and abilities in Ukrainian / foreign languages; 2) ability to perform phonological, semantic, lexicological, morphological and syntactic analysis of language material; analyze different types of discourse / text; 3) ability to translate, abstract and annotate texts of various genres in state and foreign languages; 4) ability to demonstrate knowledge of various methods, including information technology, for effective communication at the professional level; be able: 1) independently master new knowledge, critically evaluate the acquired experience from the standpoint of the latest achievements of philological science and social practice; 2) communicate in both oral and written communication in Ukrainian and two foreign languages ??(English and German); 3)apply knowledge and understanding of the laws and methods of interpersonal communication, norms of tolerance, business communication in the professional sphere, effective work in a team, adaptivity; 4) adapt to new situations and make decisions; be aware of the need for lifelong learning in order to deepen the acquired and acquire new professional knowledge; to be responsible for the work performed and to achieve the set goal in compliance with the requirements of professional ethics; 5) edit texts of various genres in Ukrainian, English and German.

Assessment methods and criteria: In order to establish the compliance of the competencies acquired by students with the requirements of normative documents on higher education, the control of their learning outcomes is carried out, which provides for current and semester control. Current control is carried out in practical classes and during independent work in the form of oral questioning, written-oral express control, computer testing, assessment of monologue and dialogic speech of students. Semester control is carried out in the form of an examination of the accumulative system. Certification in the form of an exam is set taking into account the results of written examination work, oral component and assessment for current work. 40 points are allocated for the current control, 40 points for the written examination work, and 20 points for the oral component. The student takes the exam before the commission in oral form with the fixation of questions and assessments of answers on the examination letter. The commission evaluates the student's knowledge on a 100-point scale.
