Learning outcomes: • to demonstrate knowledge of fundamental principles and norms of the national legislation of states on information relations and intellectual property; • to demonstrate knowledge of the role of information systems and technologies in the processes of civil society establishment and democratization; • to demonstrate knowledge of the concepts of information product and information service as well as their classifications; • to demonstrate knowledge of rights and obligations of the subjects on the market of information products and services; • to demonstrate the ability to advice interested persons on the actual problems of international relations and foreign policy of Ukraine, in the first place in information sphere; • to demonstrate the ability to apply information technologies for the purposes of electronic document flow and of interaction with a business, citizens and international community; • to demonstrate the ability to apply information technologies and systems in order to exercise constitutional rights and interests; • to demonstrate the ability to choose the area of economic activity related to information services providing while registering a business; • to demonstrate the ability to obtain information services of administrative character.

Summary of the subject: Concepts and classifications of information products and services. Organizational and legal structure of the information products and services market. Sources of legal regulation of information products and services market’s relations. Civil law agreements on information services providing. Subjects of the information products and services market. Peculiarities of administrative information services providing. Problems of legal assuring of the information market in the Internet. Legal issues of social networks’ information services providing.
Assessment methods and criteria: • formative assessment: oral questioning, written questioning, individual home assignments preparation (40%); • summative assessment: examination in written and oral form (60%).
