Learning outcomes: LO 1. Have the necessary knowledge and skills in business communication in the field of international economic relations, as well as communicate effectively at the professional and social levels, including oral and written communication in a foreign language / languages. LO 9. Monitor, analyze, evaluate the activities of global firms (corporations, strategic alliances, consortia, unions, trusts, etc.) in order to identify their competitive positions and advantages in world markets. LO 12. Determine the geoeconomic strategies of countries and their regional economic priorities, taking into account national economic interests and the security component of international economic relations in the context of global human problems and the asymmetry of the distribution of world resources. LO 13. Identify changes in market conditions under the influence of uncertain factors, perform a comparative analysis, critically assess the consequences of ideas and decisions in order to predict the trend of global markets. K 2. Critical comprehension of problems in teaching and / or professional activity and on the border of subject branches. S 2. Carrying out research and / or innovation activities. C 2. Use of foreign languages in professional activities.

Summary of the subject: Five tasks of strategic management. Development of company strategic vision and mission. Methods for the analysis of external environment of the organization. Methods for the analysis of internal environment of the organization. Functional, business and corporate strategies of the organization. Strategy implementation. Ethics in strategic management.
Assessment methods and criteria: - Current control (30%): group presentations; - Final control (70%): semester control (written (50%) and oral component (20%))
