Learning outcomes: PH 1. Have the necessary knowledge and skills in business communication in the field of international economic relations, as well as communicate effectively at the professional and social levels, including oral and written communication in a foreign language / languages. РН 8. To develop and study adaptive models of equalization of imbalances and leveling of threats of global development, to offer variants of the decision of problems by results of research. РН 9. Monitor, analyze, evaluate the activities of global firms (corporations, strategic alliances, consortia, unions, trusts, etc.) in order to identify their competitive positions and advantages in world markets. РН 12. To determine the geoeconomic strategies of countries and their regional economic priorities, taking into account national economic interests and the security component of international economic relations in the context of global human problems and the asymmetry of the distribution of world resources. ЗН 1. Conceptual knowledge acquired in the process of learning and / or professional activity at the level of the latest achievements, which are the basis for original thinking and innovation, in particular in the context of research work. ЗН 2. Critical comprehension of problems in education and / or professional activity and on the border of subject branches (in this discipline - world economy and international economic relations). УМ 1. Solving complex problems and problems that require updating and integration of knowledge, often in conditions of incomplete / insufficient information and conflicting requirements. УМ 2. Clear and unambiguous communication of own conclusions, as well as knowledge and explanations that substantiate them, to specialists and non-specialists, in particular to students. AB 1. Decision-making in difficult and unpredictable conditions, which requires the application of new approaches and forecasting.

Summary of the subject: General characteristics of global problems of the world economy and international economic relations. Global social problems: overcoming poverty, hunger and providing quality education, health care. Global economic challenges: reducing inequality, decent work and economic growth. Global financial problems: cyclical crises and financial debts (solvency of countries). Global environmental problems: provision of resources (water, air, energy), climate change and conservation of marine ecosystems, land ecosystems. Transnational corporations in the world economy: the problems of pricing and taxation.
Assessment methods and criteria: • current control (70%): independent work, tasks, oral questioning; • final control (30%): testing (20%), oral answer (10%).
