Learning outcomes: INT Ability to identify and solve complex specialized problems and practical problems, generate new ideas in the field of international economic relations and / or in the learning process, which involves research and / or innovation and are characterized by complexity and uncertainty of conditions and requirements. FC1 Ability to make informed decisions on the establishment of international economic relations at all levels of their implementation. FC4 Ability to assess the scale of global firms and their position in world markets. FC6 Ability to apply the principles of social responsibility in the activities of the subjects of international economic relations and analysis of their impact on the economic development of the country. FCB1.2 Ability to develop corporate social responsibility as a factor in ensuring the competitiveness of the international business entity. FCB1.3 Ability to effectively use in practice theories and concepts in the field of training and implementation of international economic relations. PH3 Systematize, synthesize and organize the information obtained, identify problems, formulate conclusions and develop recommendations using effective approaches and technologies, specialized software to solve complex problems of practical problems taking into account the cross-cultural characteristics of the subjects of international economic relations. PH5 Assess the degree of complexity of tasks in planning activities and processing its results. PH9 Monitor, analyze, evaluate the activities of global firms (corporations, strategic alliances, consortia, unions, trusts, etc.) in order to identify their competitive positions and advantages in world markets. PH13 To identify changes in market conditions under the influence of uncertain factors, to carry out their comparative analysis, to critically assess the consequences of the produced ideas and decisions in order to predict the trend of global markets. RN 14 To present the results of own research by preparing scientific publications and approbations at scientific events. ЗН2 Critical comprehension of problems in teaching and / or professional activity and on the border of subject branches. UM1 Solving complex problems and problems that require constant updating and integration of knowledge, often in conditions of incomplete / insufficient information and conflicting requirements. Global competitiveness.
Assessment methods and criteria: current control (30%): work in the ANS, laboratory work, oral examination; performance of control works; final control (70%): testing (50%), oral answer (20%).

Summary of the subject: 1. General characteristics of the analyzed enterprise. Subject and object of competition, features of competition. 2. The type of market in which the company operates and the action of competition forces according to the model of M. Porter. 3. Analysis of the competitive advantages of the main products of the enterprise, industry, region, country where it operates and internal and external competitive advantages of the analyzed enterprise. 4. Monitoring and assessment of the competitiveness of the three main competitors of the enterprise, including foreign ones. 5. Competitive advantages and disadvantages of the analyzed enterprise, as well as threats and opportunities through SWOT-analysis. 6. Formation and substantiation of the strategy of the enterprise in the domestic and foreign markets. 7. Features of the competitiveness management system at a particular enterprise. 8. Assessment of the company's ability to participate in global competition and its possible global strategy.
