Learning outcomes: Integral competence: Ability to solve complex specialized problems and practical problems in the field of social communications, which involves the application of the provisions and methods of social communication and other sciences and is characterized by uncertainty. General competencies: 1. Ability to apply knowledge in practical situations. 2. Ability to search, process and analyze information from various sources. 3. Ability to communicate in the state language. Learning outcomes 1. Evaluate the activities of colleagues in terms of preservation and enhancement of social and cultural values and achievements. 2. Fluent in professional matters, including oral, written and electronic communication, in Ukrainian. 3. Use the necessary knowledge and technologies to overcome crisis communication situations on the basis of tolerance, dialogue and cooperation.

Summary of the subject: The discipline involves the study of stylistic and practical aspects of modern Ukrainian literary language; stages of its formation and development; its role as the official state language in the public life of the Ukrainian people; the place of the Ukrainian language among other Slavic and European languages; linguistic characteristics (properties) of the modern Ukrainian language, sources of its enrichment and improvement; phonetic, lexicological and grammatical (morphological-syntactic) laws of the Ukrainian language and means of their implementation; scientific principles of Ukrainian orthography and basic spelling norms of modern Ukrainian literary language; stylistic and practical aspects of the modern Ukrainian language, its forms (oral and written), literary norms of the modern Ukrainian language, issues of speech culture and language etiquette; journalistic style.
