Summary of the subject: The discipline "Theory and Methods of Journalistic Creativity" is designed for students majoring in "Journalism" in the first year of study. Discipline is fundamental in becoming a journalist before choosing a narrow thematic or media specialization. It is designed to acquaint students with the nature of journalism, to reveal the features of journalistic texts, to form an idea of ??the quality of journalistic product (journalism standards), to navigate the types of information, to be able to professionally collect information for journalistic materials and others. The purpose of the discipline is to master the journalistic methods of gathering information and preparing materials of information genres of the press. Tasks of the discipline As a result of studying the discipline, students should know: • features of journalistic creativity; • professional responsibilities of a chronicler, reporter, interviewer; • idea, topic, concept, idea of ??information journalistic material; • stages of work on journalistic information material; • characteristic features of journalistic information genres; • methods of collecting information for writing notes, interviews, reports, reports; • methods of reproduction of facts, events, phenomena in information genres; • types of argumentation in information genres; • composition, conflict, plot in information genres; • title, its tasks, types; the first phrase of the material, ice; skill in presenting an opinion; • typology of information journalistic genres; • characteristics of types, subtypes of notes, interviews, reports, reports; • methods of working on a note, interview, report, report.
Assessment methods and criteria: Methods of knowledge diagnostics: 1. Execution of test tasks. 2. Writing journalistic materials of information genres. 3. Performing creative tasks. Criteria for evaluating student learning outcomes: Current control - 45 points Exam control - 55 points Total - 100 points
