Learning outcomes: As a result of studying the module, the student should know: modern methods of mass communication in conditions of information warfare; techniques for recognizing propaganda, disinformation, and fakes; methods of combating the negative phenomena of information war; the rights and duties of journalists, including in conditions of war and state of emergency; legislation that regulates the work of mass media and journalists. Must be able to: counteract fakes, propaganda, disinformation, censorship; competently and holistically interact with your target audience; apply the acquired knowledge about methods of struggle in the conditions of information warfare; analyze the situation in the information space and act adequately and professionally.

Summary of the subject: Analysis of modern approaches to mass communication in conditions of information warfare. To train future journalists to process information professionally and responsibly and convey it to the consumer, understanding the significance of the impact of their work on public opinion.
Assessment methods and criteria: Practical exercises, oral interviews, reference work (40%) final control written, oral form (60%)
