Learning outcomes: Know and understand the specifics of the development of magazines or newspapers in any format. Understand what factors have the greatest influence on the product's popularity among readers. Learn to identify and understand the target audience, interact with readers, and find mechanisms for popularizing the publication. The peculiarity of this educational course is also the fact that it is, to some extent, multidisciplinary, because in order to better understand the consumer market, you will master some marketing tools and try out some management tricks. And, in order to form the editorial board of your dreams, you will learn about teamwork.

Summary of the subject: Definition of the target audience of the publication. Definition of the thematic niche. Genres and rubrics in the publication. SWOT-analysis. A tool that will help you improve the results of your activities. The cause-and-effect diagram. Registration of the edition. Preparation of the edition for distribution. Promulgation of the edition.
Assessment methods and criteria: Practical exercises, oral interviews, reference work (40%) final control (control measure, test): written, oral form (60%)
