Learning outcomes: KУ2. Analyze production processes for compliance with labor protection standards, industrial safety. ЗУ2. Ability to realize the need for lifelong learning to deepen the acquired and acquired new professional knowledge 1. Legislative and regulatory framework for labor protection, labor protection management system at the enterprise; 2. the main causes of injuries and occupational diseases of workers, methods of reducing them; 3. orientation in the basic principles of the organization of the working process, safety requirements, and the organization of measures to prevent electric shock; 4. mastering knowledge of fire safety and the system of measures to prevent fires and explosions, the rules of the evacuation of people in the event of a fire; 5. determining the socio-economic effectiveness of measures to improve working conditions in the workplace; 6. ability to apply theoretical knowledge in practice; 7. to use legislative and normative-legal acts on labor protection and civil protection and to apply them qualifiedly in the process of official and labor activity; 8. ability to use various methods, particularly modern information technologies, for effective communication at professional and social levels.

Summary of the subject: Basic legislative and regulatory acts on labor protection and civil protection. International norms in the field of labor protection and civil protection. Labor protection and civil protection management system at the enterprise. Injuries and occupational diseases. Accident investigation. Regulatory and legal support for the functioning of special units of labor protection in the field of professional activity. Regulatory and legal support of the main fire prevention measures at industry facilities. State supervision and public control over the state of labor protection at enterprises, institutions, organizations of all forms of ownership. Social insurance against accidents and occupational diseases at work. Emergencies and monitoring of hazards that can cause emergencies. Basic measures and means of protection of the population and territories from ordinary situations. Planning of civil protection measures. Ensuring measures and actions within a single system of civil protection.
