Learning outcomes: Basic knowledge of scientific concepts, theories and methods necessary for understanding the principles of operation and function of equipment and facilities in the field of tourism. Basic knowledge of basic legal acts and reference materials, current standards and technical specifications, instructions and other normative and regulatory documents in the field of tourism. Knowledge of the bases of labor protection, industrial sanitation and fire safety in the organization of tourist areas. Ability to organize tourist services in the process of consumption of tourism product. Ability to use and introduce new technologies for the formation and realization of tourism product, to model its variations, in particular in order to increase their competitiveness.
Required prior and related subjects: Tourism Management, Marketing in Tourism Industry, Logistics of tourism, Strategic marketing, Conflictology.
Summary of the subject: Theoretical foundations of service. The formation of the theory of needs in socio-historical development. Modern scientific concepts of human needs Theoretical basis of service activities. Key features of service as a service area Organizational basis of service activity. Service as a system of personal service. Individual psychical and physical features of a person as the basis of its inquiries. Ethics and psychology of service activities. Psychosocial interaction in the service. Problems of quality and safety of services of modern service. Innovative technologies in service activities.
Assessment methods and criteria: - The current control (40%) are workshops, oral interviews and test; - The final control (60%) is a credit.
