Learning outcomes: 1. Lessons knowledge of the principles of construction features of high-quality sound recording, playback and information displays for various applications; 2. Lessons knowledge about the features of conservation, long-term storage and quality information playback to effectively operate the equipment; 3. The ability to assess the quality of high-quality sound recording, playback and information displays for various applications; 4. Lessons modern methods of measuring the parameters of information display devices for various applications, skills of experimental research; 5. Lessons modern methods of measuring the parameters of high-quality sound recording and playback devices of audio and television systems, skills of experimental research.
Required prior and related subjects: Prerequisite modules: Fundamentals of Television , Digital Devices and Microproccesors , Methods of Signal Generation and Formation, Methods of Signal of Radio and Television Reception and Processing, Radioautomatics. Co-requisite modules: Radio Systems Design, Telecommunication Systems and Networks Design, Cable and Satellite Television, Digital Television and Television Centers, Television Systems and Information Display Devices, Microprocessors in Radio and Television Devices.
Summary of the subject: Classification of information display systems, psychophysiological aspects of display and perception of information, coding information transmitted to vision, principles of information display, systems for information display, indicator devices SID, alphanumeric indicators, matrix SID, electrochromic, ferroelectric and electrophoretic panels, holographic displays, prospective means of information display, image quality in information display devices, structural schemes, features of construction, principle of operation and the physical basis of functioning of high-quality sound and image recording and playback systems (CD, mini-disc, digital recorder, digital camcorders of the different formats).
Assessment methods and criteria: - current control (30%): calculation-graphics work, oral defence of laboratory work; - final control (70%): exam, written-oral form

Learning outcomes: The results of the course work should detail the following program learning outcomes: 1. Know the basic methods of analysis and synthesis of modern devices and systems of recording and reproduction of information; 2. Be able to use CAD tools and integrated development environments to design systems and devices for recording and reproducing information; 3. Know the properties and basic parameters of nodes and devices record and playback information; 4. Know the principles of operation and methods of implementation of nodes and devices recording and reproduction of information; 5. Be able to calculate the nodes and devices record and playback information; 6. Know the current methods of measuring the parameters of recording devices and information reproduction; 7. To know the newest directions of implementation and prospects of application of systems and devices of recording and reproduction of information in various fields of science and technology.
Required prior and related subjects: Prerequisites: signal theory, digital methods for implementing radio engineering systems, the basics of digital television. Co-requisites: digital systems and facilities for organizing information networks, television systems and information display devices.
Summary of the subject: During the course work the following issues are considered: feasibility study of the design and construction of the recording device and / or reproduction of information, selection of element base, development of structural and schematic diagram of the device. Based on the selected element base, a general algorithm of operation and a program for the microcontroller are developed. In addition, the battery power of the device is calculated and the operation of the device is simulated.
Assessment methods and criteria: 1. Current control in the form of checking by the teacher parts of the course work in accordance with the description of the stages of course work. 2. Final control in the form of protection of course work.
