Завдання: - Know and adhere to the regulatory and legal certainty of the activity of a modern manager;
- Ability to form a democratic culture of a public institution;
- Organize successful information and business exchange,
- Implement a democratic management style and maintain a creative psychological climate in the team.
Learning outcomes: - To know the main provisions of public administration concepts and ways of their practical implementation;
- Know the main regulatory documents regulating the activities of the head of the public sector;
- To be able to implement the methods of modern democratic management of a public institution;
- To be able to form one's own authority and a positive image of the institution.
Required prior and related subjects: System of public management and administration, Technologies and tools of public management
Summary of the subject: The discipline "Leader in State Institutions" has an interdisciplinary nature (integrates data from other educational and scientific fields - management, sociology, psychology, personnel management, etc.) and considers modern trends and problems of management of organizational structures, theoretical foundations of successful formation of an optimal organizational environment and practical management technologies public institutions.

Assessment methods and criteria: Current control and independent work - 30 points;
Course project - 40 points;
Final test control - 30 points;
The amount is 100 points.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) is awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems.
