Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of teaching the discipline is the acquisition of knowledge, skills and directly practical preparation for independent work after completing the master's degree in relevant positions, gaining experience in engineering and organizational, technological and research and experimental work in the production units of enterprises.
Завдання: The study of an educational discipline involves the formation of competencies in students of education: general competences: INT. The ability to solve complex specialized tasks and problems in the field of ecology, environmental protection and balanced nature management when performing professional activities or in the learning process, which involves conducting research and/or implementing innovations, and are characterized by the complexity and uncertainty of conditions and requirements; K01. Ability to learn and master modern knowledge; K08. Ability to conduct research at an appropriate level. special (professional) competences: K14. The ability to manage the strategic development of the team in the process of carrying out professional activities in the field of ecology, environmental protection and balanced nature management; K16. The ability to self-educate and improve skills based on innovative approaches in the field of ecology, environmental protection and balanced nature management.
Learning outcomes: As a result of studying the academic discipline, the student must be able to demonstrate the following learning outcomes: PR02. To be able to use conceptual ecological regularities in professional activity; PR09. Know the principles of personnel and resource management, basic approaches to decision-making in conditions of incomplete/insufficient information and conflicting requirements; PR11. Be able to use modern information resources on ecology, nature management and environmental protection; PR12. Be able to assess landscape and biological diversity and analyze the consequences of anthropogenic influence on natural environments; PR18. Be able to use modern methods of information processing and interpretation when conducting environmental studies; PR19. Be able to independently plan the implementation of a research task and formulate conclusions based on its results.
Required prior and related subjects: Meteorology and climatology; Soil science; Engineering ecology; Risk assessment in ecology; Basics of industrial ecology; Normalization of anthropogenic load on the environment
Summary of the subject: As a result of the study of the educational discipline, familiarization with the enterprise, its impact on the environment, methods and technical means of environmental protection works, familiarization with environmental programs of enterprises, measures for the protection of nature and life safety, implementation of modern achievements of science and technology at the enterprise, organization information support of technological and environmental protection activities, consolidation and deepening of knowledge in special and general engineering disciplines, acquisition of practical skills in professional and organizational activities of specialists in ecology, environmental protection and balanced nature management. The study of an academic discipline involves the formation and development of students' competencies:
Опис: The study of an academic discipline involves the formation and development of students' competencies: • organization of the environmental protection service at the enterprise; • the current ecological state of the territory and each component of the natural environment; • technogenic (anthropogenic) load on natural ecosystems; • justification and plan for environmental protection measures; • environmental and economic efficiency of the enterprise; • geological environment and mineral resources, their condition, violations and pollution; • state of development of mineral and raw material resources; • a geomorphological map with relief disturbances by modern and ancient geodynamic processes; • natural state and chemical, bacterial, radionuclide pollution of underground, soil and surface water resources; • water supply, water consumption, water drainage and water management balance; • water purification, waste disposal, reverse water use; • atmospheric air pollution by stationary sources; • atmospheric air pollution by motor vehicles; • trends of changes in the state of the air basin and forecasting their development in the near and further future; • state of microclimatic resources; • unfavorable meteorological phenomena (showers, thunderstorms, hail, droughts and dry spells, frosts, fogs, ice and frost phenomena, blizzards and snow drifts, etc.) and their forecasting; • pollution of the soil cover and the state of land resources; • structure of land resources; • land reclamation; • trends in changes in land resources and forecasting the dynamics of their use in the near and distant future; • the state of natural and artificial plant resources; • the animal world, its protection and rational use; • reserve fund and prospects for its development; • protection of biosphere objects; • natural monuments; • sources of pollution, volume of spread of harmful emissions into the air, water and the surface of the earth; • catalog of pollution sources, their volume and distribution by type; • characteristics of treatment facilities; • household and industrial waste; • environmental situations in areas of landfills; • radiation pollution; • detailing anomalies and studying their nature; • noise, electromagnetic, high-frequency pollution; • general characteristics of the population of the district; • sanitary-hygienic and medical-biological condition of the territory; • natural and sanitary-hygienic conditions for the occurrence of infectious diseases and natural biogeochemical epidemics; • occupational diseases and their connection with the state of the environment; • impact of mineral fertilizers, toxic chemicals, smoking, radiation, etc. on people's health; • map of occupational diseases at industrial enterprises and in rural areas; • life expectancy and infant mortality. The program of the discipline provides for the final training of students as highly qualified users of computer technology and the formation of theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary for solving professional tasks using computer technology.
Assessment methods and criteria: According to the work program, students' practice is supervised by the practice manager from the university and the practice manager from the practice base. Organizational measures are brought to the attention of students before the departure of students for practice: briefing on the procedure for passing practice and safety techniques, providing students with the necessary documents (practice program, diary, methodical advice from the head of practice, etc.). It is indicated that there is an established work regime at practice bases, which students must follow. Questions related to the supervision of students' activities by the supervisor of practice from the university and the enterprise are highlighted. The final control is conducted orally.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: oral component 100
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
