Learning outcomes: - to identify areas of unproductive energy costs and to implement energy saving measures; - to introduce energy-saving technologies in the industrial and domestic spheres; - develop schemes for the use of local energy resources; - carry out calculations of individual elements of alternative energy supply at the expense of renewable energy sources: sun, wind, biomass and low-potential heat.

Summary of the subject: A description and analysis of modern approaches to energy saving is given. An analysis of the problem of energy costs and ways to reduce them. Acquired knowledge and skills of applied disciplines to solve specific energy-saving tasks
