Мета вивчення дисципліни: The goal of the discipline "Pharmaceutical merchandising" is to prepare future specialists of the pharmaceutical industry to perform professional merchandising functions related to providing medical and preventive institutions and the population with medicinal products, medical products and parapharmaceuticals. This will allow future pharmacy specialists to acquire a system of knowledge and acquire practical skills in the formation of an assortment, conducting a commodity analysis of pharmacy assortment products, determining consumer value and methods of evaluating the main groups of medical products.
Завдання: - general competencies: Ability to apply knowledge in practical situations; Skills in using information and communication technologies; Ability to learn and master modern knowledge.
Learning outcomes: To have the basics of materials science, types of containers and methods of sterilization, packaging, labeling, transportation of finished pharmaceutical products based on modern achievements in the field of pharmaceutical technologies for the production of medicinal products and medical products; Knowledge of regulatory and technical documentation for drugs and medical products that regulate the circulation of pharmacy goods in Ukraine; Knowledge of the assortment of pharmaceutical products, their movement from the supplier to the consumer and the documentation that accompanies them; The ability to choose storage conditions for pharmaceutical products based on their physicochemical properties, pharmacological action, dosage form, and aggregate state.

Summary of the subject: The discipline "Pharmaceutical commodity science" introduces students to the methods of classification and coding of pharmaceutical products, methods of assessing the quality of goods and the use of appropriate regulatory and technical documentation for finished medicines and medical products, as well as provides practical skills and abilities to predict the possible impact on the quality of goods the external environment during their transportation and storage, the choice of containers and packaging and the adoption of measures that prevent this impact. When studying the discipline, special attention is paid to the structure of the pharmacy and warehouse network, the acquisition of practical skills and skills in the preparation of documentation when receiving, storing, issuing and writing off goods, as well as the detection of falsified medicinal products during incoming control and regulation of the activities of an authorized person.
Опис: The concept of goods, consumer properties of goods and their classification. Characteristics of product information. Aspects of classification and features of coding of goods. Regulatory documentation for finished drugs and medical devices. Commodity analysis of pharmacy products and commodity operations. Containers, closures, packaging materials for pharmaceutical products. Finished medicines, packaging and labeling of finished medicines. Problems and ways to prevent the production and distribution of counterfeit medicines and medical products. Commodity analysis of rubber products and patient care items. Transport packaging. Organization of container economy. Suture surgical materials. Dressing materials and dressings. Means and methods of sterilization used in medicine. Physiological and ocular optics.
Assessment methods and criteria: The main methods of knowledge diagnosis are: current (PC) and semester control (SC), which is carried out from educational material, the scope of which is determined by the work program of the discipline for the semester. Current control is carried out in the form of: performance of control work, test express control, written and oral control. Semester control is carried out in the form of differentiated credit (credit). Differentiated credit is a form of SC of the student's study results exclusively for all types of work provided by the program of the academic discipline.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: current control: Control work - 20 points; test-express control (No. 1,2,3 for 10 points) - 30 points final control: control measure (test) written and oral control - 50 points
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
