Learning outcomes: As the result of studying the educational discipline "Psychology of Social Cognition", students must be able to demonstrate program learning results that are correlated with the competencies of the educational and scientific program for training doctors of philosophy: Skills (Sk): to justify, analyze, evaluate and synthesize knowledge from various subject areas for the formulation and justification of new theoretical propositions and practical recommendations in a specific field of psychological activity and in a specific psychological study; conduct scientific psychological research on various problems of an individual's life, adequately formulate hypotheses, determine their purpose and tasks, critically analyze the obtained results using the methods of mathematical statistics, generate creative author's conclusions and develop proposals, commercialize research results; to produce creative approaches of psychological and socio-psychological research and psychological practice, with their help to solve urgent psychological problems that expand and revise existing psychological knowledge; to work in a group of scientists to solve joint research tasks, to adhere to the norms of academic integrity, ethical norms and principles of scientific activity and interpersonal interaction. Communication (COM): present the results of your research at scientific events, use Ukrainian and/or foreign languages (primarily English) in scientific, innovative and pedagogical activities. Autonomy and responsibility (A&R): to be able to act responsibly and consciously, on the basis of ethical principles, in compliance with the norms of academic and professional integrity; to be aware of and bear personal responsibility for the obtained research results.

Summary of the subject: Topic 1. Philosophical understanding of social cognition and social conditioning of the cognitive process. Topic 2. Characterization of the sociological tradition by a high interest in the problems of social knowledge and cognition. Topic 3. Cognitive psychology. Topic 4. Social perception and social cognition with a socio-psychological approach. Topic 5. Cognitive correspondence. Topic 6. Strategy of attributive "transition" processes. Topic 7. Method of attributing causes. Topic 8. The theory of causal attribution by J. Kelly.
Assessment methods and criteria: The following methods are used to diagnose the results of the study of students in the discipline "Psychology of social cognition": – oral survey at practical classes; – written control: solving practical tasks, working out the empirical results of scientific research; – individual verification of the performance of practical works; – discussions: during practical and individual advisory classes; – express testing and final testing; – exam. Current control in practical classes: Answers in classes - 30 points Control work - 10 points Final control: Written component - 40 points Oral component - 20 points
