Learning outcomes: As a result of studying the academic discipline, the student must be able to demonstrate the following program learning outcomes: To know and understand specialized (political, legal, security, social, communication, etc.) aspects of the development of the modern system of international relations and Ukraine's place in it; The ability to defend a patriotic statesman's position regarding Ukraine's place in the system of international relations in communications; The ability to present and discuss the obtained results and transfer the acquired knowledge. Ability to adapt to new conditions and make appropriate decisions; The ability to realize the need for lifelong learning in order to deepen the acquired and acquire new professional knowledge; The ability to take responsibility for the work performed, to make decisions independently, to achieve the set goal in compliance with the requirements of professional ethics

Summary of the subject: History of European integration and the evolution of EU law. Institutional structure of the European Union. The EU judicial order. Sources of EU law. European Union legislative procedure. Citizenship of the European Union. Fundamental rights in the European Union. The common foreign and security policy. Free movement of goods, persons, services and capital. Trade law of the European Union. The area of freedom, security, and justice.
Assessment methods and criteria: Oral questioning, presentations, differentiated test (multiple-choice tests, short answers, extended written responses). Evaluation criteria Perfect knowledge of the material, study of mandatory and additional sources, high activity, accurate and complete answers - 3-4 points. Sufficient knowledge of the material, thorough study of mandatory sources (including court practice), generally correct answers to questions - 2 points. Basic knowledge of the material, study of not all mandatory sources, insufficient activity - 1 point.
