Learning outcomes: PH6. identify, assess and forecast political, diplomatic, security, social and other risks in the field of international relations and global development; PH7. evaluate and analyze international and foreign policy problems and situations, propose approaches to solving such problems; PH16. to know and understand highly specialized (political, legal, security, social, communication, etc.) aspects of the development of the modern system of international relations and Ukraine's place in it; In addition: RNS 1.3 to know and understand the social and communication aspects of the development of the modern system of international relations; KOM 2 the ability to defend a patriotic statesmanship position regarding Ukraine's place in the system of international relations in communications; KOM 3. the ability to present and discuss the obtained results and transfer the acquired knowledge. AiV 1. ability to adapt to new conditions and make appropriate decisions; AiV 2. the ability to realize the need for lifelong learning in order to deepen acquired and acquire new professional knowledge; AiV 3. the ability to take responsibility for the work performed, to make decisions independently, to achieve the set goal in compliance with the requirements of professional ethics.

Summary of the subject: The key aspects of the religious phenomenon, historical nature and forms of religion. World religions (Buddhism, Islam, Christianity), ethnic and national religions. The role of religion in the globalization process, politization of religion, public religion, secularization, laicism. Christianity in international relations, Islam and international politics. Сauses and types of religious conflicts, ways of solving them. Modern global problems in religious context. ethno-confessional situation in Ukraine, foreign religious centers. Religious liberty and freedom of conscience in Ukraine. Religion legislation in Ukraine and the experience of foreign countries. Perspectives of the Ukrainian ecumenism.
