Learning outcomes: - to know and understand the nature, sources and directions of evolution of international relations, international politics, foreign policy of states, the state of theoretical research of international relations and world politics; - critically comprehend and analyze global processes and their impact on international relations; - collect, process and analyze information on the state of international relations, world politics and foreign policy of states; визначати, оцінювати та прогнозувати політичні, дипломатичні, безпекові, суспільні й інші ризики у сфері міжнародних відносин та глобального розвитку; - assess and analyze international and foreign policy problems and situations, propose approaches to solve such problems; - to develop and implement applied research projects of international relations, foreign and world politics; - evaluate the results of own work and be responsible for personal professional development; - present and discuss the obtained results and transfer the acquired knowledge; - adapt to new conditions and make decisions independently; - be aware of the need for lifelong learning in order to deepen and acquire new professional knowledge in accordance with trends in international relations, the formulation of the latest political theories, concepts and interpretations of the international system; - ability to adapt to new conditions and make appropriate decisions; - ability to realize the need for lifelong learning in order to deepen the acquired and acquire new professional knowledge; - the ability to be responsible in work, to make decisions, to achieve the goal according to the requirements of professional ethics
Required prior and related subjects: - Prerequisites: Methodology of Research of International Relations. - Co-requisites: Practice According to the Theme of Master’s Thesis.
Summary of the subject: The master's qualification work is the student's final attestation work, which he performs in the final year of the master's degree. It gives a concentrated and sufficiently complete description of the student's knowledge and his ability to navigate in his professional field. During the implementation of module tasks a student must submit finished qualifying thesis.
Assessment methods and criteria: defense of Master’s qualification thesis at the examination commission meeting, 100 points.
