Learning outcomes: Program competencies: • formation of knowledge on the definition of geographical, geophysical, climatic, man-made factors influencing the habitat of the human population in order to preserve and restore human adaptation mechanisms in the context of man-made progress. • ability to synthesize natural and geographical knowledge in order to effectively solve the problems of spatial planning. Program results: • be able to read and understand geomorphological and geoecological maps and assess and predict problems related to geological processes. Learning outcomes - Knowledge: - Key trends structural and geographical research; - Development of scientific predictions, dentifying the needs of the economy, rational use of natural conditions and resources. - The study of natural phenomena. - Scientific basis NPS pollution. - Conversion of NPC. - Protection of the NPC. for the purpose of scientific research and the creation of recreational areas. -volodity basic concepts and terminology of geography and understanding of the economic aspects of geography; - Be able to predict and to control geological processes occurring under gravity, avalanches, landslides, talus processes village, stoneflows, rockfalls etc.

Summary of the subject: Constructive geography as a science, its objective sand methods. The concept of "constructive" and "applied" location. The main features of structural and geographical research. Constructive geography in Ukraine. Natural resource potential and limits its use by mankind. Land resources. Aquatic resources. Forest resources. Climatic resources. Recreational Resources. Energy resources. Mineral resources. The classification and accounting of mineral resources. Hydrogeological conditions change due to technological human activities.
Assessment methods and criteria: • on going monitoring, oral examination, laboratory work, reference work (40%) • final control (control measure, differentiated test), writing (60%)
