Learning outcomes: Program competencies: • study of the basic theoretical principles of single hydrodynamic, thermal, mass transfer and biological processes, which form the basis of the technology of purification of anthropogenic liquid and gas streams, processing and utilization of solid waste. • acquisition of skills in the calculation and design of equipment as a basis for creating environmentally friendly industries. Program results: • knowledge of methods and ways to control environmental pollution by chemical processes; machines, devices, equipment and technological schemes for the implementation of methods and methods of cleaning. Be able to design and improve existing technological schemes to reduce emissions of industrial pollution. Learning outcomes: • implementation of environmental management (saving natural resources, saving costs of raw materials, fuel and energy, etc.); • improving and upgrading production technologies, including carbon capture emissions, a comprehensive recycling and use of processed products as secondary raw materials; • clean emissions and discharges of pollution.
Required prior and related subjects: • Meteorology and Climatology, • Basics of industrial ecology, • Environmental monitoring.
Summary of the subject: The purpose of presenting discipline is a gradual and consistent application of technology, management and other solutions that increase the efficiency of natural resources and environment, along with improving or at least maintaining the quality of the environment. This is one of the main requirements of modernity in the global environmental crisis. In socio-economic terms greening should be based on the transition to environmentally methods of management, and maintenance - for ecologization of production technologies and environmental management.
Assessment methods and criteria: • Current control, oral examination (30%); • final control (control measure, differentiatedtest): written, oral form (70%).
