Learning outcomes: Program competencies: • formation of fundamental knowledge about the peculiarities of the use of natural resources by various industries and the impact of these industries on the environment; acquisition of competencies for greening production processes. • study of the basic theoretical principles of single hydrodynamic, thermal, mass transfer and biological processes, which form the basis of the technology of purification of anthropogenic liquid and gas streams, processing and utilization of solid waste. • ability to choose environmental, nature protection and nature restoration methods for solving specialized environmental problems, critical evaluation of the results and protection of decisions. Program results: • be able to identify sources of environmental pollution by emissions and waste; to carry out the system analysis of technological processes; to carry out calculation of sewage engineering constructions; design technological schemes for industrial emissions treatment; to substantiate the choice of equipment for the reconstruction of existing and creation of new environmentally friendly industries. Learning outcomes: • familiarization with modern designs cleaning equipment, applicable standards and regulations; • development of advanced technology treatment of industrial discharges and emissions, good design of treatment (utilization) plants; • develop students' skills in conducting engineering calculations, selection and choice of main and auxiliary equipment; • the ability to use reference, and periodic technical literature, guidelines; skills in analyzing the information received, the ability to make their own engineering solutions in each case.

Summary of the subject: The variety of processes, equipment and technologies of cleaning of industrial extrass is taken to the study of far oftypical technologies, methods and methods from that theproductive sewage treatment plants of different type of complication can be synthesized. In this course study the mechanical, physical, physical and chemical, chemical and biological methods of cleaning of industrial wastes; the simplest methods and methods of control of muddiness of environment, machine, vehicles, equipments and flowsheets, are for their realization. Examples of calculationand planning of equipment are made for realization of technological process.
Assessment methods and criteria: Current control as questioning on practical employments, testing. Final control - exam.
