Learning outcomes: • Processing of statistical information on indicators of transport systems and transport processes; • Research and design of traffic organization schemes; • Development of complex transport schemes; • Assessment of the interaction of transport networks and nodes; • Analyze the development of transport systems in urban areas.

Summary of the subject: During the study of this discipline the student acquires theoretical and practical knowledge and skills to conduct various studies of movement indicators and predict their changes over time. Here, field, documentary research and motion modeling in specialized software environments are considered in detail. Methods of accounting for the movement of traffic flow indicators, which are carried out directly on the road network, are used.
Assessment methods and criteria: - Protection of reports to practical work in writing by conducting a control event on the subject of work in the form of a test (30%). - Conducting intermediate online testing in the Virtual Learning Environment of Lviv Polytechnic National University (10%). - Conducting an exam based on the results of studying the discipline, which consists of three-level test tasks (60%).
