Learning outcomes: • simulate urban territory; • define transport zones; • calculate passenger generative and absorbing power of transport zones; • form matrices of correspondence trips for goals; • define percentage of usage different modes of urban passenger transport; • build on spatial structure network of public passenger transport routes; • define factors of work of route network and travel behavior of citizens.

Summary of the subject: Passenger automobile transportation in system of social relations. Main definitions. Cities functions. Modes of urban passenger transport and rational fields of its usage. Factors and organization of gathering the information about needs in trips of passengers. Determination of network behavior of passengers. Determination of amount of passenger flows on existing route network. Development of route scheme of movement. Priority conditions of movement on urban routes. Development of running times on urban routes.
Assessment methods and criteria: • written reports of practical works, spoken examination, control work; • final control (65%, control event, exam): writing-spoken mode (35%)
