Learning outcomes: Students should know: - Major trends in intellectual property, methodological concepts and doctrinal approaches to the understanding of intellectual property; - The nature of relationships in the implementation of intellectual property; - Actions in solving disputes relating to intellectual property rights; Variations development agreements on the transfer of rights to use intellectual property rights; regulatory framework justification positions in courts and public authorities in the preparation of procedural and other documents. As a result of the course students should be able to: - Assess the situation in matters related to intellectual property; - Draft a treaty on the transfer of intellectual property; license agreement of commercial concession; - Draw up documents for registration of intellectual property Learning discipline involves the formation and development of the students competences: - Total: - The ability to properly and effectively interpret regulatory support intellectual property rights; - The ability to effectively and analysis of relations in the field of intellectual property; - The ability to understand the problems of relations in the field of intellectual property; - The ability to analyze the activity of state institutions in the field of intellectual property; - Professional: - Ability to competently interpret and apply the regulations and terms of intellectual property; - The ability to give qualified opinions and proposals on settlement of disputes related to certain intellectual property rights; - The ability to conduct discussions on the problems of implementation of intellectual property rights. Program learning outcomes: 1. The right to determine the types of objects and subjects of interests-intellectual property; 2. provide legal registration vid¬povidnyh rights; 3. interpret and apply regulations, judicial practices to make informed decisions in controversial ways, resulting in the use of intellectual property and its protection

Summary of the subject: Academic discipline "Intellectual property" is taught to students as a compulsory discipline. Its program is in compliance with the established requirements needed in the preparation for the profession "Law" is designed for in-depth study of legal relations in the field of intellectual property, acquiring legal mechanism of regulation, obtaining the necessary skills training results of creative activity, protection of property and moral rights of authors and rightholders both in Ukraine and abroad.
Assessment methods and criteria: For discipline "Intellectual property" means the evaluation of knowledge (training success) are: preliminary, current and final control of students' knowledge. Previous control is a diagnostics input level of knowledge that allows to determine the existing level of knowledge of students at the beginning of the discipline or early study of a particular topic. The form of preliminary control is an input control knowledge. It is held the first workshops to assess the residual knowledge of students obtained during the study cycle courses at the same level of education. Ante control in the form of inspection and evaluation of residual knowledge is also carried out some time early next seminars. Input control knowledge is held in the form of a written definition of certain concepts, categories or procedural - legal phenomena for 10 - 15 minutes at the start of classes. Incoming monitoring of student count to score for seminary or practice session. Current control knowledge is an integral part of the whole learning process and serves as a means to identify the perception (learning) educational material on the subject. Assessment of student learning based on current knowledge control is through control of the activity during the study program material the subject, including answers to seminars, preparation of reports and analysis reports etc. Current control at seminars held to ascertaining the readiness of students to classes in the following forms: - Standardized frontal verbal questioning students on the main issues of the seminar; - Frontal checking homework; call individual students for independent solving practical problems or situations; - Blitz - polls, which is either a complete survey of all present students or sample survey of the participants. Questions on the topic (several topics), which was preparing for seminars, provide a clear answer short. In a blitz poll every graduate student has the right to answer only once; - Other. Independent and individual work of students provides targeted search for effective ways to study the subject, awareness and consistency in work, ability to use existing literature and regulatory framework, plan own work. The final control of students' knowledge in favor of offset (exam). The structure of tasks record, according to the specifics include: - Tests of different difficulty levels, - A theoretical issue or problem regulatory nature. Criteria for evaluating learning outcomes: Practical (Seminars) Classes - 40 teaching and research tasks essays, reports, or participate in business simulation games, conferences, contests, draft decisions - 40, final control work - 20 points.
