PC5.1 Skills and abilities to use polygraph tests • Understand the status and function of the judiciary in the legal system of the state; • Undertake a specific comparative analysis of government and legal structures of different countries (parliamentary, electoral, law enforcement); • Navigate in the system of current legislation to interpret existing legislation; • To analyze the status of observance of legality in various spheres of legal practice to give criminological characteristic of crime in a single village, region, state. • Ability to adapt to new situations and make appropriate decisions; • The ability to realize the need for learning throughout life with the aim of deepening the acquired and acquiring of new professional knowledge; • Ability to take responsibility to work independently and make decisions to achieve goals in compliance with professional ethics; • Ability to demonstrate understanding of the basic legal norms and ability to apply them.

Summary of the subject: Criminal proceedings, • Forensics. The content of the training module: General principles of polygraph testing. Physiological background of polygraph testing. The procedure of Palgrave check. Conditions for conducting polygraph testing. Tests polygraph testing. Methods of conducting polygraph testing. The use of the polygraph in solving crimes. Opposition to polygraph test.
Assessment methods and criteria: the verbal questioning on seminars, implementation of practical tasks, review work (50) final control (control measure, examination): in writing-verbal form (50)
