Learning outcomes: As a result of studying the discipline, the student must be able to demonstrate the following program learning outcomes: - assess the nature and characterof social processes and phenomena and show understanding of the boundaries and mechanisms of their legal regulation; - reasonably formulate their legal position, be able to oppose, evaluate evidence and provide convincing arguments; - assess the reliability of information and reliability of sources, effectively process and use information for research and practical activities; - to form a thorough knowledge of the consideration of certain categories of cases of administrative courts; - specialized conceptual knowledge, which includes modern scientific achievements in the field of professional activity or field of knowledge and is the basis for original thinking and research; - ability to solve problems in new or unfamiliar environments in the presence of incomplete or limited information, taking into account aspects of social and ethical responsibility; - clear unambiguous communication of own knowledge, conclusions and arguments to specialists and non-specialists, in particular, to students; - responsibility for contributing to professional knowledge and practice and / or evaluating the performance of teams and collectives.
Required prior and related subjects: Previous academic disciplines: current issues of administrative law and process (judicial practice). Related and subsequent academic disciplines: problems of administrative proceedings in Ukraine, territorial and jurisdictional jurisdiction of cases to administrative courts of Ukraine.
Summary of the subject: Studying the course involves gaining knowledge about the forms of administrative proceedings, the legal basis in cases of appeal against decisions, actions or omissions of subjects of power, the procedure for appealing against legal acts of subjects of power, types of disputes at the request of the subject of power to individuals or legal persons and the procedure for their consideration, the procedure for consideration of cases related to the election or referendum process, disputes related to public service relations and jurisdictional disputes.
Assessment methods and criteria: The results of students' learning activities are evaluated on a 100-point scale and are distributed as follows: - 40 points - current control: 20 points - current points for seminars; 20 points - individual research task (abstract, presentation, thesis); - 60 points - exam. The main methods of assessing student knowledge are: - oral questioning at seminars; - presentation at seminars (with a report, discussion, etc.); - testing; - written control work (answers to the questions of the lecture course); - individual research task (abstract, thesis); - group work in seminars; - final examination testing.
