Communicate freely in a legal foreign language (one of the official languages of the Council of Europe) orally and in writing. LO10. Analyze the interaction of international law and international legal systems with the legal system of Ukraine based on the awareness of the main modern legal doctrines, values and principles of the functioning of law. LO12. Conduct a comparative legal analysis of individual legal institutions of different legal systems, taking into account the relationship between the legal system of Ukraine and the legal systems of the Council of Europe and the European Union. PD1.1 Show thorough knowledge acquired in the course of training within the framework of European traditions and standards of self-government of local councils. Summary of the subject: "European traditions and standards of self-government of local communities" as an educational discipline is of great importance in the training of young future legal specialists because it forms a holistic vision of future specialists regarding the essence and content of local self-government bodies in the system of authorities. Local and regional authorities, as authorities that are closest to young people, are called to play a very important role in attracting young people. At the same time, local and regional authorities can ensure that young people not only hear and learn about democracy and civil society, but also have the opportunity to apply this knowledge in practice.
Assessment methods and criteria: Evaluation of the student's learning results is carried out in accordance with the 100-point evaluation scale established by the University. The final grade for the academic discipline consists of the PC assessment of the study results during the semester and the assessment of the study results during the control event during the SK exam. The number of points assigned to the PC is 40 points. Examination control - 60 points. The maximum total score for each discipline is 100 points.
