Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of teaching the discipline is research and improvement of biotechnological preparations for plant and animal husbandry, market overview and cell and genetic engineering biotechnologies for obtaining high-performance plants and animals. When studying the course, modern methods of obtaining and researching biological objects are considered, as well as an analysis of modern methods of obtaining biopesticides and bioveterinary drugs is carried out.
Завдання: Integral competence (INT) - The ability to solve complex specialized tasks and practical problems characterized by the complexity and uncertainty of conditions in biotechnology and bioengineering, or in the learning process, which involves the application of theories and methods of biotechnology and bioengineering. The study of an educational discipline involves the formation of competencies in students of education: professional: - the ability to work with biological agents used in biotechnological processes (microorganisms, fungi, plants, animals, viruses, individual components). - the ability to analyze raw materials, materials, semi-products, target products of biotechnological production.
Learning outcomes: As a result of studying the academic discipline, the student must be able to demonstrate the following learning outcomes: - the ability to manage technological processes and support the product quality management system operating at the enterprise. - the ability to apply knowledge about protein macromolecules for the production of food, agrotechnical and bioenergetic products and technological methods of biomass processing. As a result of studying the academic discipline, the student must be able to demonstrate the following program learning outcomes: PR02.3 Use of knowledge of the basics of biochemistry and biosynthesis of protein molecules to obtain proteins for food, pharmaceutical, and veterinary purposes using methods of modern biotechnology. PR02.6. Basic lessons on biotechnological processes of production of food, agrotechnical and bioenergy products and technological regimes of biomass processing. AIV Ability to demonstrate understanding of basic environmental principles, occupational health and safety, and their application. KOM The ability to use various methods, including modern information technologies, for effective communication at the professional and social levels.

Summary of the subject: Biotechnology, which was once the field of activity mainly of microbiologists and enzymologists, received a huge boost thanks to the decisive achievements of virology, bacteriology, molecular genetics and especially the discovery of ways to modify deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) and transfer it from one organism to another. Biotechnology, which includes industrial and applied microbiology, is based on the application of knowledge and methods of biochemistry, microbiology, genetics and chemical technology, which allows industrial processes to benefit from the properties of microorganisms and cell cultures. Biotechnology for plant and animal breeding has important scientific and practical importance. The discipline "Biopesticides and bioveterinary preparations" should acquaint applicants with the main applications of biotechnological methods in agriculture: biological ways of protecting plants from harmful agents, as well as obtaining genetically modified products and transgenic plants and animals; market overview of bioveterinary drugs used for animal husbandry.
Опис: Introduction. History of development of biotechnology of biopesticides and biovet preparations. Creation of a complex of technical means necessary for the successful implementation of biotechnological processes. Methods and equipment for cell cultivation. Genetically modified products. Biopesticides are an eco-biotechnological alternative. Types of biological preparations of agro-industrial importance. Methods of application. The most common insect pathogenic bacteria and insects Technology of bacterial bacterial, fungal and viral entomopathogenic drugs. Methods of application. Production technology of bacterial fertilizers. Problems of genetic engineering in solving the problem of nitrogen fixation to increase the yield and quality of plant raw materials. Methods of obtaining antibiotic preparations by microbiological synthesis for animal husbandry. Aspects of feed protein biosynthesis technology for animal husbandry. Use of feed protein to improve cattle growth. Differences in the technology of obtaining protein by a microbiological method Veterinary drugs for animal husbandry. Biotechnology of production and requirements for use. Immunostimulants, antibiotics, antiseptics, vaccines, vitamin and mineral preparations, disinfectants, coccidiostats, anti-inflammatory, anti-parasitic preparations. Creation of a veterinary medicinal product (VML). Life cycle of VLZ. Research and confirmation of the effectiveness and safety of VLZ. Risks of data inconsistency.
Assessment methods and criteria: Current monitoring of laboratory classes is carried out in order to identify the student's readiness for classes in the following forms: a) selective oral survey before the start of classes; b) frontal standardized survey on cards, tests within 5-10 minutes; c) frontal verification of homework; e) evaluation of the student's activity in the course of classes, submitted proposals, original solutions, clarifications and definitions, additions to previous answers, etc. Control questions are divided into: a) test tasks - choose the correct answers; b) problematic – creation of problematic situations; c) questions-replies - to identify cause-and-effect relationships; d) situational tasks - to determine the answer according to a certain situation; e) interactive quiz and game tasks. The final control is carried out based on the results of the current control and performance of the control work.

Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100-88 points - ("excellent") is assigned for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literature sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena studied in their interconnection and development, clearly, concisely, logically, consistently answer the questions posed, the ability to apply theoretical provisions in solving practical problems; 87-71 points - ("good") is assigned for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions in solving practical problems; 70 - 50 points - ("satisfactory") is assigned for poor knowledge of the educational material of the component, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for poor application of theoretical provisions in solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is assigned for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions in solving practical problems; 25-00
