Мета вивчення дисципліни: - systematization, consolidation, expansion of theoretical and practical knowledge and skills in the specialty and their application during the performance of specific scientific, project, technical, economic, production and other tasks; - development of independent work skills and mastering of research and experiment methods related to the topic of the work.
Завдання: - Ability to apply knowledge in practical situations. - Ability to use professional knowledge and practical skills to solve specific tasks in the field of biotechnology and bioengineering. - Ability to analyze regulatory documentation to ensure engineering activities in the field of biotechnology. - The ability to take into account the commercial and economic context when designing the production of biotechnological products for various purposes (industrial, food, pharmaceutical, agricultural, etc.). - Ability to use design methodologies for the production of biotechnological products for various purposes, carry out technical and economic evaluation of production, scientific and technical developments. - Ability to choose and use appropriate equipment, tools and methods for implementation and control of processes and production of biotechnological products for various purposes. - The ability to draw up technological schemes for the production of biotechnological products for various purposes. - The ability to draw up hardware schemes for the production of biotechnological products for various purposes.
Learning outcomes: - To be able to carry out technical and economic substantiation of the production of biotechnological products for various purposes (determining the need for the target product and calculating the production capacity). - To be able to justify the choice of a biological agent, the composition of the nutrient medium and the method of cultivation, the necessary auxiliary works and the main stages of the technological process with the methods and methods of cultivation, biosynthesis, biotransformation, bioindication and biotesting of biological objects. - Based on the knowledge gained during practice at enterprises, be able to perform product calculation and calculation of technological equipment, determine the organizational and structural parameters of production and carry out their optimization. - To be able to draw up a material balance for one cycle of the production process, equipment specification and a continuous control map showing production control points. - Be able to justify and select appropriate technological equipment and graphically depict the technological process in accordance with the requirements of regulatory documents using the knowledge gained during practical training. - Be able to calculate the main criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of a biotechnological process (growth parameters of biological agents, rate of synthesis of the target product, synthetic ability of biological agents, economic coefficient, output of the target product from the substrate, productivity, cost of the nutrient medium, etc.).
Required prior and related subjects: prerequisites: Processes and devices of biotechnological industries; Design and equipment of biotechnological productions; Mathematical modeling of microbiological processes; normative support of biotechnological industries; Economics and organization of biotechnological industries; Basics of labor protection and life safety. requisites: Practice on the subject of the bachelor's qualification work.

Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Current control - assessment of justification of the topic, purpose, relevance; verification of the correctness of the performed calculations and technical drawings, submitted proposals, original solutions, etc. Final control - preliminary defense of the bachelor's qualification thesis.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, and reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, a violation of the sequence of presentation, or weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) are awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, and ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
