Gained competence: 1. Knowledge of higher mathematics and physics at the level required for mastering professionally-oriented disciplines; 2. Knowledge of general, inorganic and organic, physical and colloid chemistry at the level required for mastering professional disciplines; 3. Knowledge in the field of natural sciences and engineering at the level required for mastering professionally-oriented disciplines; 4. Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology required for the further study of medical and biological disciplines; 5. Knowledge of computing hardware and programming, engineering and computer graphics to solve professional problems; 6. Knowledge of manufacturing, business and economic activity of pharmacy enterprises, the basics of accounting and reporting; 7. Knowledge of the chemical compounds of medicinal plants as potential sources of biologically active substances and standardization of medicinal plant raw materials; 8. Knowledge of the regulatory framework governing the rules of organization and conducting the pharmaceutical production; 9. Knowledge of the mechanisms of action of drugs on the human body and the factors affecting the optimal pharmacotherapy of pathological conditions; 10. Knowledge of methods and technologies for obtaining phytopreparations and preparations from animal raw materials, requirements for the quality of starting substances, and final products.
1. Ability to work with references and information resources; 2. Aability to apply knowledge of microbiology to solve specialized problems and practical problems during professional activities in the field of pharmacy and industrial pharmacy; 3. Ability to carry out the synthesis of organic compounds to obtain medicinal substances; 4. Ability to develop a project of chemical and pharmaceutical production, basic hardware and technological schemes, and construction drawings using computer programs; 5. Ability to choose the appropriate method of manufacturing a dosage form, perform the necessary calculations and make it; 6. Ability to conduct the toxicological analysis of selected research objects; 7. Ability to conduct micro-and macroscopic analysis and identification of plant objects; 8. Ability to apply methods of quality control of raw materials and final pharmaceutical products, to conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of substances of inorganic, organic, and biological origin; 9. Ability to create and organize pharmacy enterprises, carry out operational accounting and compile a report on the activities of the pharmacy; 10. Ability to organize the production of phytopreparations and preparations from animal raw materials of appropriate quality, to carry out the necessary analysis of the obtained substances.
1. Ability to communicate, including oral and written forms of communication in Ukrainian and foreign languages; 2. Ability to use various methods, in particular, modern information technologies, for effective communication at professional and social levels.
