Learning outcomes: • know the basic principles of management of chemical and pharmaceutical industry; production management; creation, research, registration of medicines (drugs); a system of good manufacturing practice (GMP) and good laboratory practice (GLP); • know the industrial production of drugs; State drug quality control system; basics of pharmaceutical marketing; fundamentals of International Business; • be able to create and register a chemical-pharmaceutical company (CFC); make plans of enterprise development and business plan; HFP organize job creation, research, registration and industrial production of drugs; • be able to carry out activities with good manufacturing and good laboratory practice; store the drugs in terms of production facilities and factory (wholesale) formulations; carry out export-import operations; carry out marketing and other work.

Summary of the subject: The theoretical basis of management. The functions of management. Organization in management. Managing the workforce. Content marketing and its socio-economic orientation. Basic principles of organization of chemical and pharmaceutical companies (HFP). Key provisions in pharmacy management. HFP as object management. Licensing of pharmaceutical activity. The manufacturing process and its elements. Proper production and proper laboratory practice in industrial pharmacy. Certification HFP. Regulatory and technological preparation of production. Medicines as market products. The life cycle of the drug. Pharmacoeconomics. The state system of quality control of medicines in Ukraine. Plan your business. Features of the business plan for the chemical and pharmaceutical industry. The structure and organization of the pharmaceutical market. Basics of pricing for medicines. Pricing System in pharmaceutical marketing. Foreign trade HFP.
Assessment methods and criteria: • written reports on laboratory work, oral examination, individual task (40 points) • final control (50 points control measure, exam), written-oral form (60 points).
