Learning outcomes: • know the theoretical bases of cytology, histology, embryology, physiology patterns of functioning of the human body; • know the fundamentals of aseptic and antiseptic, classification of accidents, types of injuries, functional insufficiency syndrome and toxic conditions of the human body; • be able to use knowledge of anatomy and physiology for further study of other biomedical disciplines; • be able to provide first aid for different types of the body damage, in a way to carry out resuscitation to ensure correct and rapid transportation of patients and victims.
Required prior and related subjects: Prerequisites: Biology and physiology of the fundamentals of anatomy, Clinical pharmacy Co-requisites: Equipment and design of pharmaceutical industries
Summary of the subject: Basic concepts of aseptic and antiseptic. Classification and methods of bleeding and methods of temporarily stop of the bleeding. Wounds, progress of wound process and treatment of various injuries. Chemical and thermal burns, frostbite, providing first aid at these damages. Traumatic brain injury and the amount of aid. Dislocations and fractures, means of transport and medical immobilization. Terminal condition of the body and reanimation. Exogenous and endogenous intoxication. Antidote therapy.
Assessment methods and criteria: • current control: control work – 30 points; • final control: control measure (test) written-oral form - 70 points
