Learning outcomes: The learning outcomes of this discipline detail the following program outcomes teaching: 1. Basic knowledge of biopharmaceutical examination of medicinal substances, medicinal products and preparations. 2. To carry out an arbitrary selection of medicinal forms, auxiliary substances and biologically unreasonable technology of medicinal preparations. 3. To draw up a plan for biopharmaceutical research of the object. 4. Conduct biopharmaceutical analysis of selected research objects. 5. The ability to conduct a discussion and draw up business documentation, including in a foreign language. 6. The ability to adapt to new situations, make appropriate decisions independently and achieve the set goal in compliance with the requirements of professional ethics. 7. The ability to realize the need for lifelong learning in order to deepen acquired and acquire new professional knowledge.
Required prior and related subjects: Previous educational disciplines: Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacy technology of drugs, Biological chemistry and molecular biology. Associated and subsequent academic disciplines: Pharmacotherapy, Pharmacology, Clinical Pharmacy.
Summary of the subject: The discipline "Fundamentals of biopharmacy" forms in students modern ideas about the influence of a species' dosage form and ways of its administration on the therapeutic effectiveness of biopharmaceutical drugs aspects of the pharmacokinetics of drugs, consider the bioavailability of drugs, and the influence of the interaction of drugs on the pharmacological effect. A feature of studying the basics of biopharmacy is a constant expansion of methods and objects of research in connection with the growth of the nomenclature of medicinal products, the appearance of new medicinal forms, and new active and auxiliary medicinal substances. As a result of studying this discipline, the student acquires relevant knowledge, abilities, skills, and competencies necessary for their formation of basic training in the basics of biopharmacy.
