Learning outcomes: As a result of study of discipline a student must be able to demonstrate the following learning outcomes: • to know the chemical structure of medicinal substance, sources and methods of their obtaining, the regularity of the relationship between chemical structure and pharmacological properties, methods of the identification and quantitative determination, the conditions of storage and usage; • to know the main provisions of general articles of State Pharmacopoeia of Ukraine, orders and other valid normative documents of Ministry of Health of Ukraine concerning manufacturing, quality control and dispensing of medicines; • to be able to use normative, reference and scientific literature to solve professional problems.

Assessment methods and criteria: • written reports on laboratory work, test control - 30 points; • summary control - 70 points (control, exam): written-oral form.
