Learning outcomes: Objectives of the discipline. Introduction of the Latin grammar system and basic vocabulary minimum, translation learning of the medium difficulty professional texts. As a outcome an expert should know: Latin grammar system in comparison with native language system and well known languages, chemical and pharmaceutical Latin nomenclature, basic aspects of history, literature and mythology of the ancient world. Prepared specialist should be able to: Use the basic lexical and terminological minimum, apply the rules of terms creation, particularly in the Pharmacy field, translate average complexity texts, practical use of the appropriate terminology.

Summary of the subject: Noun. Declension paradigm. Verb. Imperfect Tense. Perfect Tense. Processing of additional texts.
