To understand and apply in practical activities the theoretical and practical principles of designing innovative objects of urban planning, residential, public, industrial buildings and structures, reconstruction and restoration of architectural objects, methods of achieving a rational architectural and planning, volume-spatial, constructive solution, ensuring socio-economic efficiency, environmental friendliness, energy efficiency.

Know, understand and evaluate the characteristics of modern building materials, products and technologies, take into account their features when developing innovative design solutions for buildings and structures, in interior projects, improvement projects of urban and landscape areas, in the reconstruction and restoration of monuments of architecture and urban planning
PH06. Ensure the harmonization of architectural objects and the subject environment, in particular with the application of the principles and methods of the theory of design of the architectural environment, exterior and interior of buildings

Summary of the subject: The content of the discipline "allows you to master the basic principles and methods of professional design of manor houses. The discipline is intended for the preparation of a modern specialist for the design of manor houses in competitive conditions.
In the discipline, the main methods of designing a manor house are laid out in a logical sequence, the sequence of the stages of the architectural design process is revealed, from the preparation of the design task and pre-project analysis to the development of project documentation. The practical classes emphasize the importance of mastering the skills of independent development of the design task, finding the optimal functional scheme building, finding an interesting architectural image of the building. In the course of training, students learn to draw up the found solution in drawings at the stage of the sketch project (sketch of building intentions), on the basis of which the customer receives a building passport for the start of construction. An architect must be able to take responsibility for making design decisions, take real actions, and possess relevant knowledge and skills. Considerable attention is paid to the relationship between the customer and the architect. A role-playing game is proposed, where one of the students plays the role of the customer, and the other plays the role of the designer.

Analysis of the main factors in the formation of estates. Discussion of the design task
Clause 1. Plot zoning scheme and functional zoning of building floors.
Presentation and defense of the main idea. Analysis of the main idea by the customer.
Clarification of the functional planning idea and constructive solution.
Coordination of the three-dimensional model with the planning features of the house.
Control work: Working layout of the house. Search for a three-dimensional solution for a residential building. Defense-discussion of an idea. Clarification of the project idea
Consultations on planning decisions. Coordination of house plans with a three-dimensional model
Detailing of facades: architectural details, selection of colors, finishing materials.
Viewing sketches, arrangement of drawings on the format, discussion of author's decisions. Acquaintance with the requirements for design drawings.
Seminar. Basic requirements for drawing up a sketch of building intentions.
Consultation on the execution of drawings: plans, section. Issuance of an explanatory note.
Presentation and defense of the project proposal
Assessment methods and criteria: Current control: verification of the completeness of individual tasks, evaluation of the presentation and defense of the project proposal, participation in the discussion.
Final control: checking the control work.

Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
