Comprehensive research architectural and urban planning object. Co-requisites: Practice on the topic of master's qualification work. Execution of master's qualification work.
Summary of the subject: The discipline "Course project on the topic of master's qualification work" involves a systematic set of works, which includes analysis of a fragment of the architectural environment in the form of a site for design and professional choice of arguments in favor of the selected site; creation of the author's expressive three-dimensional object; selection of the optimal variant of design solutions of the architectural environment; development of architectural and planning solutions of the object; ability to use the latest technologies in the design of architectural and urban planning facilities; systematic development of stages of realization of the designed building. In addition, the time limits set by the discipline, encourage students to make independent decisions; project concepts are being developed; develops fast and logical thinking; skills of methods of creative search of the idea of ??the project and creation of the author's project are formed; there is a approbation of system methods of project work. Project research within this discipline is the basis for the formation of the creative method of the architect as a universal tool for cognition, transformation, improvement and creation of architectural space. The course is designed to form a student as a specialist architect who has a method of solving design architectural problems of various scales; is able to apply the acquired level of knowledge and acquired creative skills in the practice of architectural and urban planning, can work in a group of specialists and lead a group of specialists in the field of work. Students learn to select examples, analyze and systematize them; master the means and graphic techniques of architectural drawings; acquire skills in designing buildings and structures, elements of the environment that would harmonize in a certain environment; ability to substantiate the accepted architectural, constructive and functional decisions of the project; improve skills in working with computer programs, the ability to present the end result. The result of students' acquisition of new knowledge and skills is the implementation and defense of the course project. The sequence of course design tasks involves the implementation of feasibility studies and the development of the concept of architectural and urban planning of various scales. The subject of projects is individual and depends on the chosen topic of the master's qualification work, requirements to it and initial conditions. The main direction of educational design within this discipline is the creation of a full-scale architectural project, which is the final stage of master's degree.
Assessment methods and criteria: Current control: evaluation of the clause and its protection, review of the preliminary presentation of the completed drawings of the course project. Final control: check of the course project, differentiated credit.
