Мета вивчення дисципліни: Training of specialists in the architectural profile, who must know the features of various structural schemes for a high-quality combination of function, strength and stability and architectural form of designed long-span buildings and structures using effective solutions, taking into account the engineering, geological and seismic conditions of the construction site. Use the acquired knowledge and skills, successfully act in practice, create architectural objects with a comfortable and high-quality environment, taking into account modern needs and trends in the construction industry. In the design decision, use the most appropriate spatial planning and constructive solutions, taking into account the special design conditions.
Завдання: The study of an academic discipline involves the formation and development of students' competencies: integral competence - the ability to solve complex specialized and scientific-practical tasks during professional activity in the architectural and construction industry, which are characterized by complexity and involve research and/or innovation and are characterized by uncertainty of conditions and requirements. general competences: ZK 01 Ability to abstract thinking, analysis and synthesis. ZK 02 Ability to communicate in the national language both orally and in writing. ZK 04 Ability to use information and communication technologies. ZK 05 Striving to preserve the environment. ZK 06 Ability to act on the basis of professional ethics. ZK 08 Knowledge and understanding of the subject area and understanding of professional activity. ZK 12 Ability to conduct research at an appropriate level professional competences: SK 03. Ability to scientific analysis, development and justification of architectural and urban planning solutions taking into account natural-climatic, sanitary-hygienic, safety engineering-technical, energy-saving, ecological, technical-economic requirements. SK04. Knowledge and understanding of the features of production, quality characteristics and features of the use of modern building materials, products and technologies in the development of innovative project solutions regarding the decoration of exteriors and interiors of buildings and structures, in the creation of small architectural forms, in improvement projects urban and landscape areas, during the reconstruction and restoration of historical and modern monuments of architecture and urban planning. SK05. Ability to design scientific and technical documentation using information technologies, production of models and visual illustrative materials for architectural and urban planning conceptual, experimental projects of new construction, reconstruction and restoration of existing objects. SK06. The ability to collect, accumulate and use information on legislative documents, state building codes and regulations in the field of architecture, urban planning, design, landscape design, reconstruction and restoration works. Learning outcomes: PH01. Possess knowledge of scientific and theoretical terms, the language of professional communication in the field of architecture and urban planning: architectural theory, architecture of buildings and structures, architectural environment design, reconstruction, restoration of architectural objects, landscape architecture, information technology in architecture. PH03. To use the results of creative communication with specialists of related specialties, to combine independent and collective work on complex architectural and urban planning projects in order to increase their efficiency and professional qualities. PH04. Possess knowledge of energy-efficient and other innovative technologies when conducting scientific architectural and urban planning studies and making complex architectural and urban planning decisions. PH07. Possess knowledge of the regulatory and legislative framework for conducting scientific research and development of architectural and urban planning, architectural and environmental and landscape projects, projects of reconstruction and restoration of existing objects. PH09. To develop complex architectural and urban planning projects of new construction and projects of reconstruction and restoration of existing objects. PH14. To identify the factors, the factors on which the solution of a scientific problem depends, and based on their analysis to formulate recommendations, determine the requirements for the formation of innovative types of objects and architectural and urban planning environment.

Summary of the subject: A program aimed at students mastering the skills of creating modern long-span and effective architectural forms, taking into account difficult construction conditions. The curriculum of the discipline includes: - the choice of a variant of the structural schemes of the building and the peculiarities of its combination with function and form; - peculiarities of designing long-span buildings and structures using metal structures; - peculiarities of designing long-span buildings and structures using reinforced concrete structures; - peculiarities of designing long-span buildings and structures using wooden structures. - peculiarities of designing earthquake-resistant architectural forms, taking into account modern design norms, namely DBN V.1.1-12-2014 Construction in seismic areas of Ukraine; - design of high-rise buildings; - peculiarities of designing the foundations of long-span buildings and structures;

Consideration of the design features of long-span buildings and structures using metal structures 4. Basic requirements for the design of metal structures. Familiarization with the requirements for designing large spans using metal structures. Analysis of effective solutions and familiarization with materials used in the creation of spatial long-span metal structures. 5. Creation of forms from metal structures Study of the principles of forming, taking into account the possibilities of metal constructions. 6. Reinforced concrete structures. Basic concepts. Consideration of the design features of long-span buildings and structures using reinforced concrete structures 7. Basic requirements for the design of reinforced concrete structures. Familiarization with the design requirements of large spans using reinforced concrete structures. Analysis of effective solutions and familiarization with materials used in the creation of spatial long-span reinforced concrete structures. 8. Creation of forms from reinforced concrete structures The study of the principles of forming, taking into account the possibilities of reinforced concrete constructions. 9. Wooden structures. Basic concepts. Consideration of the design features of long-span buildings and structures using wooden structures 10. Basic requirements for the design of wooden structures. Familiarization with the design requirements of large spans using wooden structures. Analysis of effective solutions and familiarization with the materials used in the creation of spatial long-span wooden structures. 11. Creating forms from wooden structures Studying the principles of form-making, taking into account the possibilities of wooden constructions. 12. Design of earthquake-resistant long-span architectural forms Familiarization with DBN V.1.1-12-2014 Construction in seismic areas of Ukraine 13. Basics and foundations. Terms Familiarization with the features of designing the foundations of long-span buildings and structures. 14. Variants of constructive solutions of foundations Familiarization with the influence of soil conditions of the construction site on the foundation structure. Analysis of typical foundation solutions used in the design of long-span buildings and structures.
Assessment methods and criteria: Current control: conducting an oral survey in practical classes, assessing activity in classes, checking individual tasks, evaluating the student's presentation-speech, participation in the discussion. Final control: verification of calculation and graphic work, differentiated assessment.

Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
