Мета вивчення дисципліни: To learn how to organize and carry out independent scientific research on a chosen topic, to develop the skills and abilities of scientific and research activities in the field of architecture and urban planning. As a result of learning the course, students should know the main components, stages and methods of conducting scientific research, know the structure of the scientific part of the master's qualification work, be able to collect, systematize the material, analyze it, the obtained results into conclusions, present scientific results and interpret the results of scientific research in specific project solutions.
Завдання: integral competence – the ability to solve tasks of a research and/or innovative nature in the field of architecture and urban planning. general competences: 01 Ability to abstract thinking, analysis and synthesis. 02 Ability to communicate in the national language both orally and in writing. 04 Ability to use information and communication technologies. 06 Ability to act on the basis of ethical considerations (motives). 07 Knowledge and understanding of the subject area and professional activity. 08 Ability to communicate with representatives of other professional groups at different levels (experts from other fields of knowledge/types of activity). Professional competences: 01. Ability to integrate knowledge and solve complex problems of architecture and urban planning. 03. The ability to analyze, develop and implement architectural and landscape solutions taking into account socio-demographic, national-ethnic, natural-climatic, engineering-technical factors and sanitary-hygienic, safety, energy-saving, ecological, technical-economic requirements. 04. Ability to continue learning with a high level of autonomy. 06. The ability to analyze experience, collect, accumulate and use information necessary for solving problems of a research and innovation nature in the field of architecture and urban planning. 11. The ability to critically consider the problems of architecture and urban planning.
Learning outcomes: RN 1 To have specialized conceptual knowledge that includes modern scientific achievements in the field of architecture and urban planning and is the basis for original thinking and conducting research; RN 2. To have specialized skills/problem solving skills necessary for conducting research and (or) carrying out innovative activities in the field of architecture and urban planning in order to develop new knowledge and procedures; PH09. Apply energy-efficient and other innovative technologies when conducting scientific architectural and urban planning studies and making complex architectural and urban planning decisions. RN 10. Discuss the results of professional activity, research and innovative projects in the field of architecture and urban planning in the state and foreign (English) languages orally and in writing RN 11. Summary of the subject: In the process of studying the discipline "Comprehensive study of an architectural object", students of the second educational level master the types and peculiarities of the organization of scientific research in the field of architecture, its methodological principles and methods, the technology of planning research activities. The lectures provided information on the organization of scientific research, the implementation of independent research activities, the structure of the master's qualification work, the justification of the relevance of the research problem, the methods of working with information sources, the application of theoretical and empirical research methods in architecture and urban planning, the methods of building a theoretical concept of scientific research of architectural spheres During practical classes, master's students develop the ability to organize their own research work, the ability to independently select adequate methods, build scientific hypotheses and models, carry out successive stages of research, generalization and presentation of results.
Опис: The content of the discipline is developed on the basis of the relevant requirements for the preparation of masters of architecture and urban planning for the implementation of innovative scientific research in the theory of architecture, for teaching work in the specialty, for the development of the architectural part of complex projects of various purposes, for work in the field of management at the level of districts and cities. The discipline "Comprehensive study of an architectural object" reveals the main forms and methods of scientific analysis, provides a personal vision and understanding of the theoretical and methodological principles of architecture, which determine the independence of scientific research and the successful completion of the theoretical section of the master's qualification work.
Assessment methods and criteria: Current control: conducting a selective oral survey in practical classes, assessing activity in classes, checking practical tasks, evaluating the presentation - speech of the master's student, participation in discussions. Evaluation of the performed calculation and graphic work. Final control: differentiated assessment.

Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of studying the discipline is to get acquainted with innovative approaches in architectural design and the use of a conceptual approach in group design. As a result of learning the course, students should know the basic principles of the conceptual approach in architectural design, starting with the general provisions of conceptual design, methods and ways of solving problems related to conceptual architectural design. Be able to apply an interdisciplinary approach to solving a specific architectural task, including information about approaches to solving tasks from related fields; compile a set of measures and proposals into a coherent system, formulate a complex architectural concept, work in a group, graphically and verbally argue one's own decision

Organize work on complex architectural and urban planning projects, cooperation with customers and the public in the development, coordination and public discussion of architectural projects; it is understandable to convey one's own conclusions and arguments to specialists and non-specialists. 09. Summary of the subject: The course "Comprehensive study of an architectural object" involves the study of innovative changes in architectural thinking, new approaches in design, modern trends in urban planning, the latest technological, material and constructive means. Acquaintance with innovative approaches in architectural design together with the application of a conceptual approach in group design are intended to qualitatively raise the level of practical professional design. The educational discipline provides for the provision of the necessary knowledge in the field of innovative architectural activity, the development of conceptual thinking, the formation of skills for creating an author's conceptual project based on knowledge of the method of creative search for a project idea; approbation of system methods of project work, development of project concepts based on modern trends and innovations in architecture and urban planning.
Опис: The result of acquiring new knowledge and skills is the completion and defense of a course project. The sequence of course design tasks involves the formation of skills in performing pre-design studies and conceptual solution of design tasks for architectural and urban planning objects of various scales. The topic of the projects can change in order to bring it closer to modern problems, requirements and conditions of real design. One of the areas of educational design within this discipline is the creation of a conceptual project based on the tasks of annual professional architectural competitions.
Assessment methods and criteria: Current control: evaluation of the implementation of the clause and its protection, review of the status of the work, review of the preliminary presentation of completed drawings of the course project. Final control: verification and defense of the course project, differentiated assessment.

Formulation of the user portrait (VPO) - 5 points Layout of the total volume of the building in context – 5 points. Clausure - 10 points Layout of a detailed building - 5 points. Evaluation criteria: - availability of all necessary drawings of the course project; - professionalism and quality of execution of drawings and visualizations; - the quality of the graphic design of the course project; - the level and quality of the presentation of the course project.
