Credits: 4.00
Department: Chemistry and Technology of Inorganic Substances
Lecturer: Prof. Andrii Helesh
Semester: 4 семестр
Mode of study: денна
Learning outcomes: To study: physical and chemical bases of work of chemical sources of current, the main types of CDU; structure and operation of chemical current sources; main electrochemical and operational characteristics of CDU; methods of calculation and production of standard CDU; current trends in the development and improvement of CDU and prospects for the development of chemical power sources; features of application of electrolysis processes for hydrogen production, optimal parameters of electrolysis processes of solutions and perspective directions of chemical and electrochemical hydrogen production. The cycle of laboratory works gives the chance of practical research of the basic characteristics of means of conversion and storage of energy in a chemically bound state.
