Learning outcomes: • knowledge of the current state and trends of development, the most important developments, the latest methods in the field of design and operation of means of information support of intelligent electric networks and electric power distribution systems of industrial, civil and individual objects with distributed sources of electricity; • knowledge of scientific and mathematical principles necessary for solving engineering problems and conducting research during the design and operation of information support means of intelligent electrical and electric power distribution systems of industrial, civil and individual objects; • the ability to apply the methods of designing and operating the means of information support of intelligent electric networks and electric power distribution systems of industrial, civil and individual objects during the development of engineering projects of such objects, to apply the acquired knowledge and practical skills, to adapt the results of scientific research during the creation of new and reconstruction of existing information systems of electrical engineering objects; • the ability to search, analyze and critically evaluate information about the latest achievements in the field of design and operation of means of information support of intelligent electric and electric power distribution systems of industrial, civil and individual objects, critically evaluate the main technical and economic indicators of the functioning of information systems of electrotechnical objects and their equipment; • the ability to independently propose a functional scheme of information support for intelligent electrical and electric power distribution systems of industrial, civil and individual objects with distributed sources of electricity, to develop optimal project solutions for information systems and to propose an activity strategy for solving energy-saving issues of electrical systems of industrial, civil and individual objects; • principles of forming an information complex with the implementation of applied mathematical problems by means of object-oriented programming.

Summary of the subject: Information and industrial technologies in electrical systems of alternative energy. ASC technologies, market and trends. Cyberphysical systems: main directions and technological base. Decision making systems, programmable logic controllers, real-time control systems. Coordination of the work of individual logical components in a complex cyberphysical system. Review of means of communication in the power industry. Standardization of interaction formats and focus on WEB technologies. Software architecture for the needs of top-level ASC. UML diagrams and tools for describing and visualizing the architecture. Organization of data for the needs of cyberphysical systems. Working with data from information portals.
Assessment methods and criteria: • written reports on laboratory works, oral questioning, comtrol work (35%), • final control (control measure – exam): written and oral form (65%).
